Following the Board Manual rules, the school is pleased to announce the following results:-
Teacher Representative: Ms Rebecca Cusick
Student Representatives: Callum Innis and Millie Boehm
Parent representative: None stood and none elected.
The voting this year was the same as last year. The process began with a blog article published February 3, 2015 announcing student, staff and parent vacancies. The nominations for all positions opened Wednesday 4 February, and closed Wednesday 18 February, 2015.
Initially we sought a year 10 student representative for a 1 year appointment and a Year 9 student representative for a 2 year appointment. However, all 4 nominations were year 10 students.
Voting opened Monday 23 February, and closed Monday 2 March, 2015. In TEAM folders from Tuesday 24 February were ballot papers with the required instructions. These were collected anonymously by TEAM teachers and returned to the Assistant Returning Officer.
The Assistant Returning Officer counted the votes, all candidates were informed of the outcome by Michael before it was announced to the student body.
For procedural purposes, the candidate with the greatest number of votes was placed in the 2 year position, the runner up in the 1 year position.
