Dear Stromlo Learning Community,

Welcome to the 2013 school year! We have several exciting developments to share with you. Our operational plan aims to improve student achievements in literacy and numeracy, implementing a seven line timetable and mutually satisfactory behaviour management protocols, and strengthening our student voice and partnerships with ANU and Questacon.

New website launched

Today, Stromlo High School launched its new website complete with social media integration (Twitter and Facebook) and a calendar that allows parents, students and the community to subscribe to get notification of all events on their smart phones.

Newsletters are also changing and rather than generating them on a fortnightly or weekly basis, all information will be posted to the website and visitors will be able to subscribe via RSS feed or regular subscription to have the news articles delivered to their inbox or computer whenever they want it. For those who still require a printed copy of the newsletter, arrangements will be announced soon to provide you with the same information other members of the community receive.

The new website has been designed from the ground up to make communication with home more effective and to provide visitors with more options to engage with the school. We look forward to hearing feedback on the new site from our community.
